The 2017 Estes Park Marathon and Half looks forward to celebrating it’s 15th year of incredible mountain racing with you! There is plenty to be thankful for and celebrate in Estes Park and surrounding Rocky Mountain National Park. Our race courses offer some of the worlds most spectacular views and outdoor experiences. Our community has a long history connecting visitors with nature’s beauty and inspiring healthy lifestyles. Whether you are visiting us throughout the seasons or just for our amazing destination race, we welcome you to one of the most scenic places on earth!

Our mountain location is a perfect destination for running. Instead of struggling with air pollution, excessive traffic, hot temperatures and over-crowded start lines, you will find peace, beauty and fresh mountain air along our courses. You will have a professional racing experience in a down-home environment with locals greeting you and cheering you each step of the way. Our award winning rocky mountain course is a favorite for many and continues to grow in popularity.  2017 is the year we are finally able to introduce our new marathon course, which offers 1500ft descent within the first 11 miles.  Runners will enjoy incredible valley views as they enter Estes Park and grand views of the Continental Divide for the remaining course. Our race participants represent the elite as well as the walker.

The 2017 Estes Park Marathon and Half, celebrates the 100th anniversary of Estes Park and the Baldpate Inn. Join us on Saturday, June 17th for the Estes Park 5K and the KIDS, KIDS, KIDS: BIKE, RUN, FUN! Festival. On Sunday, June 18th, our Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K races. The Estes Park Marathon and Half will challenge and encourage you, to connect with a deep understanding of strength and spirit.  You will finish feeling inspired and thankful for accomplishing this amazing journey!

Keep running,

Belle Morris
